Elizabeth and I grew up in a Canadian Tire. Some of my earliest memories were going to the store as a young child when we were closed on Sundays and watching our parents work hard at perfecting their craft with an unwavering goal to provide the best experience for their customers and staff. We were so fortunate to grow up with parents and later mentors who taught us about striving for excellence by focusing on the details, smiling at your customer and taking care of your staff.
Allan and I are proud to continue our parent’s legacy of running a best in class retail store. We remain steadfast in our goal to enhance the customer journey through effective use of technology and the critical role of frontline staff. We are so fortunate to have this incredible test box, our store to ideate new innovations to support the operations. What makes our careers in retail fulfilling is to be on the forefront of excellence and innovation.
When we set out together to make the earliest version of Meerby, it was with two simple objectives; finding our customers that want help and providing them that help with friendly and educated staff. Much of the technology introduced into this space recently has been focusing on reducing the importance of staff in bricks and mortar locations; we want to focus on developing technology to enhance our staff’s ability to positively affect the customer experience instead of technology designed to replace them!
As Co-Founders, we are 100% invested in the long-term success of DynamicCXS and Meerby as our premier product offering. We have fairly clear lines of responsibility due to our unique skills to complement the business, but share one critical role as Chief Product Officers in the innovative spirit to design, create and deliver meaningful retail solutions.
